The story of Hunter Biden’s dealings in Ukraine

Koch jumped in with a term of his own: psychopastiche, a German word meaning "suffering soul" - and the word "psychopathy" was born. It gained some clinical use in the early 1900s before the word "sociopathy" supplanted it in the 1930s, apparently to avoid confusion with another condition, psychosis. Sociopathy also suggested the influence of social and environmental factors in causing the disorder, which was a popular opinion at the time. The current terminology emerged in 1980 when the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), which lays out the standard terminology for they psychiatric profession, shed the term sociopathy in favor of the broader condition "antisocial personality disorder" (ASPD). Today, the descriptors "psychopath" and "sociopath" are still common and often used interchangeably because they denote the same personality traits. Similarly, the terms "primary psychopath" and "secondary psychopath" denote this same physical/environmental divide. Despite the publication of two new editions of the DSM since 1980, psychopathy is still relegated to the broader ASPD category.
Whether you opt for SugarSync or Dropbox really depends on what you want from your storage provider. While both apps have their strong points -- Dropbox offers better security, while SugarSync has a better sharing model -- those looking for easy-to-use file storage are probably best suited with Dropbox; tech-savvy users who need some additional features will probably be happier with SugarSync. Whichever one you choose, you'll have the option to access your files wherever you go. Cloud storage means that you're saving your files to a remote database. That way, you can save and retrieve data from any computer or device with web access -- and you don't have to carry a memory stick or external drive. Check out How Cloud Storage Works to learn more. As a member of the planning staff of the U.S. National Security Council and special assistant to National Security Advisor Henry Kissinger, Lord accompanying the famed statesman on his secret trip to Beijing in 1971 and was he part of the U.S. President Richard Nixon's historic visit to China the following year. Lord, 84, spoke to Rita Cheng of RFA's Mandarin Service on the 50th anniversary of Nixon's Feb. 21-28, 1972 visit to China. RFA: What was your involvement in the reestablishment of Sino-U.S. It began with a secret trip by Kissinger and myself and to others, in July '71, to see whether a presidential trip was possible. We then had another, public, trip. And then we went back to China with the president. I was assigned that responsibility of assembling all the briefing books for President Nixon.
Passive voice: Using a lot of passive voice in your text makes it appear distant, and your message will be less clear. Your sentences become wordy and difficult because the sentence structure is harder to understand. Whenever you use the passive voice, always consider whether a better, active alternative is available. Transition words: Do you use transition words like ‘most importantly’, ‘because’, ‘therefore’, or ‘besides that’ to tie your text together? Using these words improves the flow of your article as they provide hints to the reader about what is coming next. Sentence beginnings (doesn’t apply for Product pages): Do any of your consecutive sentences start with the same word? This might feel repetitive to your reader, and that can be annoying. Always keep your sentences varied, so your article is readable and free of obstacles. Unless you want to prove something or use it as a writing style, of course.
Whether they'll spring for a Urus remains to be seen. But, remember, Lamborghini is trying to attract new markets here, too. Lamborghini. Based on preproduction versions of the Urus, Lamborghini is off to a good start. Let's take a quick look at Lamborghini's history for a moment, and its first sport ute, the LM002 -- aka the Rambo Lambo. It was a military truck that was produced between 1986 and 1993, and some production LM002s were allocated to civilians. An Italian parallel to the Humvee, if you will -- and there was a physical resemblance to the Humvee, too. So, anyone bemoaning that Lamborghini is selling out by making an SUV is just wrong. It's not only the automotive press pointing out the ties to the Rambo Lambo, either. If the concept car is an indication (and it should be) the Urus will definitely have the look and the feel of a Lamborghini. Lamborghini's description of the vehicle's profile. Rest assured that Lamborghini will make sure its new high-priced SUV will be loaded with the same kind of amenities as its more established high-priced sports cars.|Western officials said Bashar al-Assad's days were numbered. Predicted he would soon be forced to the negotiating table. It did not turn out that way. Last July, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad seemed to be losing his battle against rebel forces. Speaking to supporters in Damascus, he acknowledged his Army's heavy losses. Western officials said the Syrian leader's days were numbered. Predicted he would soon be forced to the negotiating table. It did not turn out that way. Secret preparations were already underway for a major deployment of Russian and Iranian forces in support of Mr. Assad. The military intervention, taking many in the West by surprise, would roll back rebel gains. It would also accelerate two shifts in U.S. Washington would welcome Iran to the negotiating table over Syria, and it would no longer insist that Mr. Assad step down immediately. At the heart of the diplomacy shift - which essentially brought Washington closer to Moscow's position - was a slow-footed realisation of the Russian military build-up in Syria and, ultimately, a refusal to intervene militarily.
Moscow has mainly targeted central and northwestern Syria, strategic regions that are the gateway to President Bashar Assad's strongholds in Damascus, and along the Mediterranean coast. But the strikes appear to have given Assad new confidence to try to retake some lost ground. A U.S. ambassador to NATO today praised Russia for its ability to build an 'impressive' military presence in Syria in such a short space of time. Douglas Lute said Moscow's firepower includes a 'considerable and growing' naval presence, long-range rockets and a battalion of ground troops backed by the most modern tanks at its Syria naval base in Tartous and its army base in Latakia. Speaking on the eve of a NATO defence ministers meeting to be dominated by Russia's intervention in Syria's civil war, he said: 'The force they have deployed down there is actually quite impressive for a rapid deployment of a week or so. Western officials say that, in strategic terms, Russia's new air strike campaign in Syria appears designed to help reverse rebel gains increasingly endangering Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, protect Russian military assets in the country and reassert Moscow's place as a big international power competing with the United States.
