What is the best investment in those tough times?
Posted: Mon Jul 09, 2012 6:53 pm
For those who live on distant planets and haven't heard about this yet:
Tough times - people have been burned recently so many times. So many broken promises, "pump & dump's", CEO's lying, private boards used to shaft Pi's for the benefit of selected few, banks crashing, EU falling apart, companies with great prospects and even great fundamentals going down lower than anyone would think would be possible etc. etc. etc.
So what can people actually do to make money now?
USOP who are traded on GXG (http://gxgmarkets.co.uk/) seem to be
immune to the carnage that we see on markets and considering the
potential I'd say there is no better investment now. No MM's to mess
around with the price and is so undervalued it's ridiculous.
Oil has been found already and we are waiting for flow test results.
Will it flow though?
We have "nine large potential porous oil reservoir intervals (approx.
1,100 feet)" - that's NINE !!! (extract from the latest RNS)
This is not just some oil seeping up through a fault line - we have 9
zones for goodness sake so I think it is pretty damn safe to say the
permeability is rather good (to put it mildly)
here's another RNS extract:
"Reservoir quality appears excellent with good porosities ranging from
14% to 28% [that is extremely good!] and with high permeable fracture
zones"
Hold on a sec... - did that RNS say "good porosities" with "high
permeable fracture zones"?
Do you still have doubts it will flow?
Have a look at our neighbour who have drilled into THE SAME chainman
shale and have the best well in the USA in terms of flows!
They've put the production casing in AND installed production wellhead which cost hundreds of thousands of $ so they know it IS commercial.
Surveying companies, Drilling managers, drilling contractors etc are all taking their payments in shares NOT money!!! (most of which is officially confirmed in RNS's) Why do you think they would do that?!
-----------------
What about the potential? (currently trades at around 250p)
Based on P50 from Forest Garb's CPR we get £25 / share T/O value (note
this is not NAV which would be much, much higher)
I've used a rather conservative $25/b as we don't know flow figures
yet (everything suggests we can expect good flow so that should be
revised upwards later but for now - just to be on the safe side I'll
use it.
In the last RNS it states clearly: "The number and size of the
reservoir zones we encountered was well beyond our expectations" so
the 67mbls figure is no longer viable anyway (but - again - to be very
conservative I've used it)
And those calcs are super-conservative!
Or take P10 of 114 mbls and you'd get £43/share T/O value @ $25/b
then remember "...well beyond our expectations" and you will slowly
start to understand the potential here.
Those who have been following the story for a while know that Brian
and Karim are VERY conservative with their predictions so their
enthusiasm is not to be dismissed!
(BTW BM said we can probably expect to get $25-$40 / barrel on
Takeover and that was before we had an insight to our API's, porosity
and permeability!)
Now if you try to calculate potential profits here on less
conservative (more probable) figures it almost gets scary.

As I've mentioned before our CEO said that he expects the takeover price to be between
25-40 $/b (that was before we knew about the excellent quality of the
find) so have a look at potential returns depending on the amount of
oil we have.
So please someone tell me why this isn't THE best share out there
right now.
BTW We have quadrupled the acreage since that CPR!

Here's a post written by someone who has worked in the oil industry (on oil rigs) for over 30 years:
"You only have to understand what the RNSs are telling you to realise
what we have.
This has the best signs for flowing and oip that I have ever seen on
any drilling related RNSs ....... they have even put the well head
on .... lol .... at great expense ... does that not give you a clue!!
People can say what they like ....... I don't care .......... I
understand whats going on.
I am just so happy to be in this with a half decent holding for a
working guy ........... 30 years in this drilling game ..... and now
soon to retire ...... this is not a gamble anymore ..... its ......
"Bingo" ........ for many of us.
Good luck All ...."

You can trade it via Jarvis (http://www.sharedealactive.co.uk) Creating an
account takes less than 10 minutes and you can trade straight away (no
sending docs or waiting for PIN numbers to come through post etc)
Charges are under £10/trade
You can trade over the phone or via website (use this code to trade
instead of the ticker B4Q65W6 )
Other brokers switched to sell only (the theory is that a big buyer
mops everything up - more info on relevant BB's)
oh... and I don't work for Jarvis (or USOP LOL)
A new interview with BM - very good read

Also recent Proactive investor video interview - also worth watching
http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/com ... -1218.html
I think it's pretty clear that this is a commercial find (to put it very mildly)
It traded at an all time high of £6.50 today after which some profit taking took place and as a result you can still get these for £4-£5. Lack of market makers means a bit of volatility in such exciting times but at least they wont screw you over like they do on AIM.
We are fully funded for 3 drills and with over 600k of shares in treasury. Our CEO is nothing short of a business genius and will do everything he can to maximize the SP because he is only on about 25k euros / year (to cut the costs as much as possible where he can) and wants to benefit from his massive holding (BOD have over 15% of shares!!!)
Now we have found oil BM got us Forest Garb and associates, Nabors (largest drilling contractor in the world), Baker Hughes (one of the biggest and best drilling companies in the world) and is doing everything he can to make this THE best possible T/O target for the majors.
With ADR listing in the States and on a German exchange imminent this will fly even before the flow rates are known so don't miss out - this train is ready to leave so have your tickets ready. It is NOT too late yet but if you want in you probably need to be quick! The train wont wait for you!
