Updates Made to Website

1. There is (and already was) an option to jump to the first unread post on each topic.
2. Friends & Foes (ie ignore) has been reactivated
3. "Subscribe Topic" and "Subscribe Forum" links have been reactivated and moved to the top of the page on each forum/topic. This will allow you to get notications of updates sent to your registered email address should you wish.
4.Subscribe by RSS has been turned on. Subscribing is handled by browser menu RSS icon (usually in the address bar) as there's about 5 different feeds to choose from.
5. Mobile Theme is now active for smartphones. There is an option to revert back to the "Full site" at the bottom of each page (and then a switch back to mobile link appears) so if you do not like it then you can go back to the old view.

Thanks for the changes, they certainly enhance usability.
Regarding the skip to first post feature, I don't know if it's just me being picky, but I think it would be better if this was in a more prominent position and perhaps where it doesn't require two clicks (one to open the thread and another to skip to first post).
Please see the attachment I've posted as a suggestion. I know other forum software (vBulletin) show such buttons marked yellow.
Regards,

Hi There,
Site improvements so far have been great, mobile version is doing its job for me too!
Is there a way, once inside a thread to move to the next or previous thread without returning to the thread list?
Thanks
Graeme

Admin, I cannot see this link, all I see is the thread title (link to 1st post) and arrow on the right (jump to last post). How does one jump to first unread??
This is what I see:

Ozfund you should have the edit function available for the first 10 mins or so to correct any errors made whilst posting.

'First unread post' is very useful now I have found it - lol.
Is it possible to have 'return to top of page' at the end of each page to get back to the 'Search/mark' menu.
TIA

Press the "Backspace" key on the keyboard and it will jump you to the top if you have previously clicked the "first unread post" link.
It is actually the equivalent of clicking the browser "back" button.

Admin / Mods - I find the topic title "You know what, this shit is coming together".
quite degrading for a quality BB. I did not want to say anything while JR was around however now that you have banned him he can not take offence. If you think it should stay could it be moved to JR's Topic section for a while and then remove that whole section if needs be. Any new member of WS seeing that Topic heading and reading some of the content might think twice about investing in RRL etc etc.

I think someone will probably have mentioned this already but can we block veiwing this board by non members otherwise it could be pointless joining at all as well as for those that would prefer this board to be private.

Tony et al,
>>There is (and already was) an option to jump to the first unread post on each topic.<<
For me, at least, this option does not work with Internet Explorer 7.
It is variable with Firefox but OK using Google Chrome.
