Crazy buying opportunity at 68p! I thought we had it bad at range!

I bought in at what I thought was historic low of 78 but the ISIS situation could drive this to silly levels so might be best to hold fire on the but button for now...sub 50 could be a very high risk high reward price !!

Everything's a gamble on AIM but it's a decent risk/reward punt at this price for the chance of a takeover / farmout imo. Shouldn't be too much lower to go if it does, so easy to approach with a smallish punt, then increase slightly if it ever dips much.
Annoyingly only got in at 62.5p as the internet was being wobbly and made me miss the 62p I was trying to press buy on :p

Interested to see results of PPC drill... Tempted to get in before but then it could to an extent TPET (though PPC have 3 drills funded)... Would rather use some RRL profit (lol) on that one.

Have taken a few there myself recently, once all the excitement from that spike died down, who knows could actually get some real news soon as sure they're not sat twiddling their thumbs, nor will be the Norwegian lot either!
Back in HUR now as well, taken all i want to now - given their record so far earlier than expected news wouldn't exactly surprise me!

Watching GKP but doesn't look good over there, plus GENL could be the better buy anyway if you were going to risk it.
Also keeping a close eye on AFR but ideally would like a bit lower on all this negative sentiment. Got my suspicions what it might relate to if it was operational (would seem to be given it is the CEO and COO suspended), but could also be totally over-blown and the company are prevented from commenting further legally I'd imagine.

Yeah I'm still wary of GKP and hence haven't bought every time it's dropped (but regularly get tempted). So far that's been proved wise/prudent. With such a large MCAP (even now) the bigger they are the harder they fall etc ;)

Still got my COP and SMDR. Which are probably slow burners. But nicely cash generative which I always like. Hell, COP's profits increased to nearly £20m last year, and it's MCAP is still under £100m!

Don't really follow COP closely but have also been watching SMDR.

Will soon be time to start getting in the Falklands ones as well, not sure I'd want to hold for any drills through to TD (depending on the 'rumours' at the time of course, and the source of those - am yet to lose money on an FI drill!) but bound to be renewed interest once the rig is on the way and drilling starts.

Still wary of these big drills personally. Too much to lose, on results obviously, but also following on from that if it's not good and therefore increases the skepticism (rightly or wrongly) of how subsequent drills will go, and increases the risk of fundraising unless they're incredibly well funded for years ahead.

If you wanted AFR, they got hammered this morning, and would have had your chance for a much cheaper buy-in, although they've now significantly recovered (perhaps surprisingly considering AIM bad news is rarely taken well - like them today suspending operations due to the crisis in the region).
