Trump escalates baseless attacks on election with 46-minute video rant

Post by linksitess »

The macroeconomic panel of New Ukraine Conference 2017 featured a fruitful debate on the most urgent issues of the reforms Agenda in Ukraine with Dmytro Shymkiv, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Administration, Oleh Ustenko, CEO of Bleyzer Foundation in Ukraine, David Snelbecker CEO of the International Development Group, Francis Malige, Managing Director of the Eastern Europe and the Caucasus at the EBRD, Ihor Petrashko, Deputy CEO at Ukrlandfarming. Panel’s moderator was, as usual Alex Bart of Empire State Capital Partners. At one panel, Empire State Capital Partners jointly with the conference partner, Financial Services Volunteer Corps (FSVC) presented an initiative to set up Business Incubator Group Ukraine (BIG.U), a regional office for the support of small and medium enterprises and the development of entrepreneurship in Ukraine. The initiative got a warm welcome from the attendees. By the time the New Ukraine Conference 2017 finished, a memorandum was signed on the establishment of BIG.U. The Business Incubator Group Ukraine initiative aims at making SMEs into a driving force behind Ukraine’s economy and delivering a quality leap into innovative sectors.
That would mark the end of Ukraine’s post-Soviet independence and its three decades as a fledgling democracy, one in which Putin’s longtime allies still hold seats in parliament. In his statement announcing the invasion Thursday, Putin warned against any efforts to deter Moscow’s forces. “Anyone who tries to interfere with us, or even more so, to create threats for our country and our people, must know that Russia’s response will be immediate and will lead you to such consequences as you have never before experienced in your history,” Putin said. Now that the Russian military operation in Ukraine has begun, there are looming fears about the risks that come with it for the rest of Europe and the world. Over the last several weeks, the U.S. European allies have moved troops, naval ships and warplanes eastward on the continent, near where the Russian military is operating, to deter Putin from further aggression. Ukraine is not a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), but it borders four nations that are-Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.|Japanese youth invade a Tokyo bathhouse to do their version of the YouTube dance craze, the Harlem Shake. What makes some videos go viral? See more YouTube Pictures. LOLcats. For the uninitiated - those who have somehow been able to avoid what appears to be a nonstop, social media-fueled avalanche of photos of cats doing funny things accompanied by cryptic, grammatically deficient messages - LOLcat is an Internet thing. A big one. It started in 2006 with an image of a fat cat looking at a camera, with the headline "I CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER?" emblazoned across the top. That's what Web folks call viral content: Something that spreads so fast on the Internet that it dominates Facebook and Twitter news feeds and racks up page views and clicks the way Elvis Presley used to take down fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Often, it's a silly or ridiculous photo or video along the lines of the "cheezburger" cat, a weird Chinese goat or various groups of people doing the Harlem Shake.
Why should Apple compatibility be the default. Leave all the Android users out in the cold? And what can be done about it? Two good questions, really, and finding these answers is exactly why the Open Automotive Alliance (OAA) was established. The OAA is, according to Google, "a global alliance of technology and auto industry leaders committed to bringing the Android platform to cars starting in 2014." Although Google doesn't specifically frame the situation as a matter of competition or conflict, or even address its rivals by name, it's clear that gaining market share would be a benefit of the OAA's success. This means that even if Apple has a lead on vehicle integration, Google and Android are planning to fight back, and they already have a group of auto manufacturers who want to use their innovations in new car models. The first members to join Google in the OAA were auto manufacturers Audi, General Motors, Honda and Hyundai, and the computer chip maker NVIDIA.
Some are abundant enough that we don't have to worry about running out anytime soon. For example, 90 percent of manganese is used in making steel. Lead is another irreplaceable mineral, used in goods as varied as car batteries and organ pipes. Other minerals that are more challenging to extract. Face greater demand may cause bigger headaches for manufacturers. Take rare earth elements like terbium, dysprosium and neodymium. Don't let the label fool you: They're not hard to find. But as with cryolite, there aren't many deposits rich enough to extract profitably. Meanwhile, demand rises as they're used in more of the products that have become indispensable in many of our daily lives (iPhones, computer chips) as well as in powerful magnets for a lot of new environmentally friendly technology (wind turbines, electric cars). This poses a problem, of course. Extracting the rare earth elements used in "green" tech is flagrantly dirty.
Infants who were fed some egg between 4 and 6 months of age reduced their risk of developing an egg allergy by 40 percent, while babies who ate peanut between 4 and 11 months were 70 percent less likely to develop a peanut allergy than those who first ate peanuts when they were older. Before you start spooning up the peanut butter and scrambling eggs, the study's authors urge caution. The study samples were small, they note, and they didn't look at factors such as the rate of allergic reactions after infants were fed these foods. Still, it's reason for hope. Food allergies affect one in every 13 kids in the U.S. Eight foods are behind 90 percent of all allergic reactions: eggs, peanuts, milk, tree nuts, soy, wheat, fish and shellfish. These allergies have been steadily rising in developed countries around the globe, yet experts can't figure out why. The London researchers didn't find enough evidence that introducing milk, fish, shellfish, tree nuts (like almonds) and wheat to babies reduced the risk of them getting allergies. If you're allergic to peanuts, be careful of who you smooch. Peanut allergens stay in saliva for hours after a person noshes on the nuts, and severely allergic people can die if they kiss someone who has recently eaten peanuts or peanut products.
