In addition, we introduce an optical flow estimation module to exploit the information from adjacent frames for HR video restoration. Experiments show that our method performs favorably against state-of-the-art ones on benchmarks and real-world videos. Self-supervised learning, blind video super-resolution, convolutional neural network, deep learning. With the rapid development of high definition devices, visualizing the videos generated by some low-resolution (LR) imaging devices on these high definition devices usually leads to significant aliasing and blur effect. Thus, it is of great interest to develop an effective algorithm to super-resolve videos for better visualization on the high definition devices. The goal of video super-resolution (SR) is to infer the latent high-resolution (HR) videos from given LR ones. POSTSUBSCRIPT denote the downsampling. Video SR is a highly ill-posed problem as the latent HR frame, blurring matrix, and warping matrix are unknown. Some recent significant advance has been achieved due to the use of kinds of deep convolution neural networks (CNNs).
The sun illuminates layers of the Earth’s atmosphere, as viewed from the International Space Station. A solar geoengineering proposal to reduce global warming’s effects would target an upper layer of the atmosphere. For decades, climate scientist David Keith of Harvard University has been trying to get people to take his research seriously. He's a pioneer in the field of geoengineering, which aims to combat climate change through a range of technological fixes. Over the years, ideas have included sprinkling iron in the ocean to stimulate plankton to suck up more carbon from the atmosphere or capturing carbon straight out of the air. Keith founded a company that develops technology to remove carbon from the air, but his specialty is solar geoengineering, which involves reflecting sunlight away from Earth to reduce the amount of heat that gets trapped in the atmosphere by greenhouse gases. The strategy hasn't been proven, but modeling suggests it will work.|In this study, we propose an innovative method for the real-time detection of GPS spoofing attacks targeting drones, based on the video stream captured by a drone’s camera. The proposed method collects frames from the video stream and their location (GPS); by calculating the correlation between each frame, our method can identify an attack on a drone. We first analyze the performance of the suggested method in a controlled environment by conducting experiments on a flight simulator that we developed. Then, we analyze its performance in the real world using a DJI drone. Our method can provide different levels of security against GPS spoofing attacks, depending on the detection interval required; for example, it can provide a high level of security to a drone flying at an altitude of 50-100 meters over an urban area at an average speed of 4 km/h in conditions of low ambient light; in this scenario, the method can provide a level of security that detects any GPS spoofing attack in which the spoofed location is a distance of 1-4 meters (an average of 2.5 meters) from the real location.
USCP officers salute during the procession for U.S. Capitol Police officer Brian D. Sicknick on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021, in Washington, D.C. Sicknick was killed in the line of duty during the Jan. 6 riot. In addition, there are special events at the complex, with national and international dignitaries, and an unending stream of government officials and private-sector individuals who come to the Capitol complex to testify in hearings. USCP helps to safeguard of all those potential targets of crime or terrorism as well, whether they're actually watching over them or coordinating with other security details, Straub explains. The Capitol Police also has to watch out for the safety of throngs of ordinary sightseers who come to the Capitol complex - pre-pandemic, some 15,000 to 20,000 visitors each day - and deal with the never-ending assortment of demonstrations by people who want to get the attention of Congress. The vast majority of those protesters are peaceful, Straub explains.|Today's luxury cars, like the 2009 Volvo C70, shown in New Delhi, India, in January 2008, boast features that will be found on most cars in the future. It's virtually tradition in the automotive industry that the features that will be found on the economy cars of tomorrow first appear on the luxury cars of today. To get a peek at what lies in store for the average driver, one merely needs to do a little window shopping at a high-end car dealership. Emergent technology is usually created on a limited scale, not in mass production. So it follows that because this technology is rare, it should be more expensive. Once it's found on widely produced automobiles, the cost for high-end technology will decrease. But for a luxury car to be a luxury car, its features have to stay ahead of the innovative curve. So to get an idea of what lays in store for luxury cars, we have to gaze into the crystal ball that is the concept car.
The current issues stem from the collapse of the INF Treaty, which banned land-based cruise and ballistic missiles with a range of 500-5500km. The Treaty was abandoned at the U.S. Russia of violating the terms in August 2019. RIAC produced a series of articles on the issue at the time, and there is no need to rehash the arguments presented in earlier pieces. It is worth noting that mass-production and deployment of Russian land-based mobile missile systems carrying 9M729 cruise missiles (NATO reporting name SSC-8)-allegedly in violation of the INF Treaty-disappeared from news feeds immediately once the Treaty collapsed, with Washington “for some reason” no longer informing the rest of the world about its distribution in the Russian army. Russia, in turn, had counterclaims against the United States. Europe. The latter concerned the Aegis Ashore ballistic missile defence system commissioned in Romania in 2016 and under construction in Poland. These complexes, essentially simplified “land destroyers,” use missiles from the SM-3 family launched from the MK 41 Vertical Launching System.
Members of the wolf-like group include wolves, coyotes and jackals, which are all closely related. Observing the diversity of dogs and wild canids, scientists like Charles Darwin reasoned that different types of dogs might be descended from different types of wild canids. However, modern DNA analysis shows us that dogs are descended only from wolves. In the next section, we'll look at how this evolution might have happened. Even if it's clear that dogs are descended from wolves, it is less obvious how this came about. The conventional view, and one widely represented in both fiction and nonfiction, is that prehistoric people took wolf pups from their dens and reared them to think of people as their "pack." These tamed wolves lived with people and reproduced. The people that cared for them treasured individuals with odd coats or heavier bone structure, which might have meant death in the wild. Over time people began to breed these wolf-dogs selectively until they eventually created the diversity of dogs we see today.|Sunny beaches, scenic woods, soaring mountains, health retreats, ski resorts, historic spots, stunning architecture - Ukraine seems to have everything that a visitor might want. This Eastern European region, the second biggest in Europe and strategically situated from the crossroads between Asia and Europe, indeed provides an assortment of vacation destinations. Within the southern part, a single finds the Crimean peninsula, a world-renowned relaxation haven. Household to charming beach resorts and popular health-and-wellness centers, it truly is exactly where Russia's previous leaders (Breshnez, Stalin, Krushnev, etc.) went to unwind and regenerate. The Carpathian Mountains, which basically go through several countries which include Ukraine, is the one other favorite tourist attraction. Referred to as the "Green Pearl" of Ukraine, the Carpathians are lush with woodlands, rivers and mountain rivers, Alpine meadows, and serene mountain scenery. In the meantime, the hilly capital city of Kiev boasts of world-renowned architecture. Most notable are the Cathedral of St. Sophia, the Ukrainian Baroque Church of St. Andrew, the Monastery in the Caves, plus the 970-year-old Golden Gate.
