BridgeFormer is able to be removed for downstream retrieval, rendering an efficient and flexible model with only two encoders. Our method outperforms state-of-the-art methods on the popular text-to-video retrieval task in five datasets with different experimental setups (i.e., zero-shot and fine-tune), including HowTo100M (one million videos). We further conduct zero-shot action recognition, which can be cast as video-to-text retrieval, and our approach also significantly surpasses its counterparts. As an additional benefit, our method achieves competitive results with much shorter pre-training videos on single-modality downstream tasks, e.g., action recognition with linear evaluation. Pre-training a model to learn transferable representations for video-text retrieval requires the understanding of video concepts, text semantics, and the relationships between videos and texts. Existing works for video-text pre-training can be divided into two main categories. A new module in vitro, termed BridgeFormer, makes it possible, as illustrated in Fig. 1. Based on the backbone of a “dual-encoder” framework, BridgeFormer is trained to answer the “questions” generated by the text features via visual reasoning with the video features.
Facebook "view" is counted after just 3 seconds play, with or without volume. Besides, bizarre ads in FB crop up on the newsfeed that seems to be struggling for viewers. FB ads length is limited to around 15 seconds. The click through rates on these FB ads is lower than what you would normally expect to see on other platforms. As an advertiser, getting your ads noticed can be difficult on FB, as everyone vies for attention using paid ads. In order to reach the target group through above mentioned social media ads, advertisers need to be assured, that their viewers have internet and app facility in their devices. But with mobile video advertising platform like moLotus, advertisers can reach their target group without any app or internet. This highly interactive medium is cost-effective. Irrespective of the mobile type and style, this medium supports all mobile phones be it feature or smart phones- 4G, 3G and 2G. It delivers high impact audio - visual messages directly to the user's mobile phone and establishes deeper customer engagement.
Both strategies involve hair preventing dirt and grime from sticking to the animal, which makes it easier for the animal to clean itself. This sort of information can be used to design sensors and electronics so that they prevent dirt, grime and pollutants from gumming up the works. The plan is to take the information gleaned from these studies. Incorporate some of nature's designs into electronics. Whether or not that means your next thermostat will be hairy remains to be seen. · A honeybee's surface area is the size of a piece of toast. · Honeybees and squirrels are equally hairy, with about 3 million hairs. · Butterflies and moths are particularly hirsute with around 10 billion hairs. · Humans have about 100,000 hairs on their heads (the author of this article is excluded from this statistic because nature can be cruel). The Georgia Tech team found that a honeybees surface area is equal to a slice of toast.
With that in mind, we're going to compare and contrast the two technologies across a variety of parameters, starting with the kind of energy they emit. X-rays or Millimeter Waves? A volunteer stands inside a backscatter scanner during a demo at the Transportation Security Administration's Systems Integration Facility at Ronald Reagan National Airport on Dec. 30, 2009. Backscatter technology is one of two types of imaging technology that the U.S. Both types of scanners give off energy in the form of electromagnetic radiation, which exists in nature as waves of energy made from both electric and magnetic fields. These waves travel through space and come in various sizes, or wavelengths. Millimeter wave scanners produce a special type of microwaves with wavelengths that fall in a range exactly between 0.001 meters (1 millimeter) and 0.01 meters (10 millimeters). In other words, the waves emitted by mmw scanners are much larger and therefore have less impact on small structures, such as human proteins and nucleic acids.|The ability of snapshot compressive imaging (SCI) systems to efficiently capture high-dimensional (HD) data has led to an inverse problem, which consists of recovering the HD signal from the compressed and noisy measurement. While reconstruction algorithms grow fast to solve it with the recent advances of deep learning, the fundamental issue of accurate and stable recovery remains. To this end, we propose deep equilibrium models (DEQ) for video SCI, fusing data-driven regularization and stable convergence in a theoretically sound manner. Each equilibrium model implicitly learns a nonexpansive operator and analytically computes the fixed point, thus enabling unlimited iterative steps and infinite network depth with only a constant memory requirement in training and testing. Specifically, we demonstrate how DEQ can be applied to two existing models for video SCI reconstruction: recurrent neural networks (RNN) and Plug-and-Play (PnP) algorithms. On a variety of datasets and real data, both quantitative and qualitative evaluations of our results demonstrate the effectiveness and stability of our proposed method.
While these materials can protect your gym gear from rain and sweat, they also provide the perfect breeding ground for odor-causing bacteria. When you toss your damp, sweaty workout clothing back into your gym bag, you're leaving yourself vulnerable to germs and pathogens that thrive in this type of warm, wet environment. Even worse, you're creating a bacteria breeding ground that leaves your gym bag smelling of sweat, mildew and other unpleasant odors. Don't carry the smell of the gym home with you. Instead, invest in a bag with separate compartments for wet swimwear or damp clothing. While many people simply use a plastic bag to hold these items, it's easy to forget to bring these bags as you're rushing out the door each morning. Instead, choose a gym bag with a vented pocket that allows air to reach your wet items. Access to the air will not only help these items dry more quickly and protect your other clothing from moisture, but also keep germs from flourishing in your gym bag.
