Wow, what a lot of first-posters responding to this thread. I had no idea people were so interested in Horse Hill on this board.

In answer to your questions:

a) Yes this is for real. The EA approval has been granted.
b) I know because I have good contacts. Lots of good contacts in lots of different places.
c) What's to explain? The Approval has been granted. I know for a fact that this is true and I am letting you know too as I don't think it is fair that the city sharks always have more information than the PI's and sometimes it's nice to see the little guys win. For once, you know what they don't. Enjoy it, it doesn't happen often.
d) Not bullshit. More like a golden chicken egg! I understand why you don't believe me but I hope you have the grace to come back and apologise to me when the announcement is made on Friday/Monday.

Remember, EA approval is just another step on the way. The oil still has to flow. But if it does there will be a lot of very happy PIs out there.

I only joined this forum half an hour ago because of your post. If you are proved right then I will certainly apologise and buy you a drink as you will have my undying gratitude. if you are just another ramping bast**d then I hope you rot in a firey pit. Fair enough? We will see tomorrow anyway.

Remember I said tomorrow OR MONDAY!

When I'm proved right mine is a bottle of Krug 1996 Clos D’Ambonnay. With a bit of luck you may be able to afford it by next week...

Just googled that and even if you are right and the share price doubles then that is a bit out of my league as it would leave me with hardly any profit left. What about I make a £50 donation to a charity of your choice instead?

Oooh you little minx! ;)

But seriously, that's great and hope it's called in officially soon. It's been a longass trek to such a moment and it's hard to reconcile that this seemingly small thing has kept the flowtest guys at bay for months after everyone seemed geared up to go on green.

Fingers crossed for a speedy resolution and let's get flowtesting! GL all.

Edited to add: of course even the smallest, seemingly trifling thing is likely highly complex and needs a multitude of tickboxes, checks and double checks before signing off.

Looking forward to next week.

Finished 1.55p, and hopefully some word from the government re: fracking in general. Let's see of that adds an unrelated (at this stage) boost.

Good to see sp firming up after months in the wilderness.

Good time to post this recent article? :)

http://www.fool.co.uk/investing/2015/11 ... t-to-soar/

Meanwhile, UK Oil & Gas (LSE: UKOG) has bucked the trend in the last year, with its shares soaring by 165% as a result of a major oil discovery in the UK. Although there was some confusion regarding the size of the potential find, to me UKOG remains a company with strong long-term prospects to increase its oil production from the four sites in which it currently has an interest.

Clearly, smaller oil companies may be at a disadvantage versus their larger peers when it comes to financing, since they lack the size, scale and diversity of a number of their peers. However, with UKOG having raised £6m via a placement in June of this year to contribute to £8m in cash and receivables as of its half year results, it appears to be sufficiently well financed to progress with its strategy over the medium term. Furthermore, as at its half year results it also had £9.6m of undrawn debt facilities which can be accessed if they are needed.

Clearly, the full potential of the company’s asset base is not yet known and the value of such assets is likely to be relatively volatile simply because of an uncertain outlook for the oil sector. However, with UKOG being up 15% today and having a relatively bright future outlook, less risk averse investors may wish to consider its purchase for the long term.

We'll see. It's got all day.

Word on the LSE bb, supposedly from EA, is it's due 'early December'.

I'm not concerned with a few days here and there either side of various predictions, it's obviously on its way - sooner or later.

It does seem to be building up to something so it's all good in my book. Best of luck for today onwards.

Day traders just taking out quick profits, it will go back up over 2p in due time. Patience is key. Of course with good flow tests this will smash through previous highs.

Thanks for the thanks everyone. Glad to be of service to my friends here and I hope those who doubted have made the promised donations to Cancer Research UK...

Its a shame that the share prices have not increased on the good news we have already had but we are operating in a terrible market for O&G at the moment so we all just have to wait a little longer and I still have faith that the well tests will reward all long term holders in the very near future. As I said earlier, EA approval is just another step on the way to flow test results coming through so don't be too disappointed with the share price as it stands. Obviously we are still waiting for H&S approval but this approval is a given and from what I am hearing then the well test will be much much quicker than everyone is expecting.

In fact, from what I am hearing, if Kate Middleton was a UKOG investor then she may be celebrating more than just her birthday this year.

Sebastian, I apologize for doubting you and I have made the agreed donation to cancer research UK.

Can you clear up my confusion about your last post though. Are you saying that Kate Middleton will be happy this year because of UKOG or that sh will be happy on her birthday (9th January). If it is the latter then why is it taking so long to do the well test?

Thanks again for the information, please keep it up as it is a real help for me to have someone who seems to really know what is going on as opposed to the usual bullshitters on this share.

Hi Huffers, apology accepted and thanks for the donation.

To clarify my previous post, Kate Middleton should be very happy by the time her next birthday comes around, assuming that the well flows of course.

The reason that the well test cannot be done quicker is simply - to do a well test you need a rig. To hire a rig you cannot just go to Hertz and pick one in the right colour for hire that day, you need to book it in advance as it has to be available for when you wish to hire it. Rigs are also very expensive so nobody wants to book one before they have all the necessary permits. In my opinion, well testing in early January is breakneck speed and that is what I am fully expecting. As to whether the well test will be successful, all the signs point that it is likely but, as I am sure you know, nothing can ever be certain with these things until the oil starts to flow, and I deal in facts not fiction so I cannot give you any hints on that I am afraid.
