Bear raid ?

Post Tue Apr 17, 2012 8:55 pm

From the iii BB, from a poster called "moisherabbenu"

"I have made contact with trader friends who told me that a concerted bear/short raid was made on us yesterday and today.

Rumour was that oip was potentially of a non commercial grade,

The coup has worked with stops being triggered further exacerbating the situation as those with what little profit left in abandoned the stock.

No more no less.

I am advised that said group intemd to close their positions when I do not know but certainly within the rest of this trading week.

All appears to be well and full steam ahead to TD is expected as planned.

I only wish I had spare to invest but already fully loaded.

If shorts are closed we coul;d be back to 40p plus before too long, "

Discuss...?

Oip none commercial grade, bollox how would they know that when we have not reached td or tested.

Who ever bought that rumour deserved to loose money.

But would this explain why RRL fell simultaneously?

Frankly ridiculous for anybody to be suggesting non-commercial when we've not finished drilling yet alone testing.

Why has the price plummeted? For me, the answer is simply because there is money to be made from doing so, there is no money be made from a period of stagnancy. Take it from a position of being overbought to a position of being oversold.

On the plus side the markets looked strong today and a change in RMP/RRL SP momentum looks likely in the not too distant future.

Question is how low will it go?

My prediction is a final dip tomorrow morning then a decent bounce to set us back off in the right direction.

Happy hunting gentlemen.

I am not questioning that particular post but please see my reply for context:

"Moisherabbenu

You previously said RRL would be double what it was a month ago, by today

You also said you "knew" Landau was in Puntland last weekend

Earlier this month you said PL and Bandy were penning the news we want, yet today PL tells us we've yet to reach primary secondary zones, as per the RNS, let alone test them

I'm not being difficult but either you are lying or guessing just like many others

Regards"

So if this guys trader mates have told him it was all a bear raid, why didn't they tell him before it happened, so he could've saved himself a few quid?

Interesting.

Not sure I believe this iii guy, however Trading Faces said elsewhere that he had received calls from brokers yesterday telling him to sell now. I find TF to be an entirely trustworthy source ( the 'Madrid Connection' being an acceptable blip!).

The Madrid connection was not a blip tbh just slightly differing agenda to what he thought..........all will be apparent in the coming week imo.

Good to hear Kev

I did not expect to be approaching my original average cost at this stage and I have rather a lot of them

Keep the faith

Evil going for RMP??? Posted on t1ps.com

We covered several companies and projects (hold very tight to Leni Gas & Oil (LGO) - indeed you might trouser a few more at 1.25p) and, in particular, I remark that he is very excited to have had some sort of royal endorsement for his Welsh gold operation that is CSS Stellar (CSS). I myself veer to republicanism and do not take the House of Windsor that seriously but there is no denying that HM Queen's endorsement of this gold gives it a real cachet. The grades are good, the potential ore body is enormous and the environmental side is under control. At 3p the capitalisation is of the order of £2m. That seems very low for such potential. Long way to go though.

I covered half of the Red Emperor Resources (RMP) short yesterday at 33p. But when I later told Lucian that I had demonstrated palpable cowardice he berated me for my lack of faith. He thinks that there could be a duster on the way. If so, we'll be buying back well below 20p

Not sure how t1ps.com can possibly know this is a duster when we have had oil shows as well as an update today confirming we haven't even drilled the Primary/Secondary targets yet.

I couldn't access t1ps, and am buggered if I'm going to pay a bunch of shorters to tell me how they're screwing my portfolio.

I am interested though :

1) Was this tip posted yesterday, which could explain the big drop ?
2) Who the hell is "Lucien" ?

Interesting that his tip was duster, while the tip which the iii poster at the beginning of this thread had heard, was heavy oil. It does seem like there was a concerted effort by some serious pro-traders to manufacture a huge drop yesterday.

Lucien Miers is a another bear raider and associate of evil....

I think we agreed on RUM some weeks ago after evil shorted RMP that his diary is a day old..

FWIW he is no longer short on range...
