GATWICK OIL SITE

Post Tue Sep 08, 2015 12:07 pm

Hi guys,

Had a day off work today so decided to take a drive up to site and see for myself if there are any clues as to what is happening in regards to the well testing. Not much to report on site, but you can see the areas closed off with lots of equipment around the site. I think once the well test permit comes in which seems to be imminent that testing could happen sooner than we expect. I tried to find out from the Environment Agency when the well test permit will be issued but cant find their number?

Either way looks like things are progressing very nicely and excited to see what the next month brings!

imo once the well test permit has been granted, 3 weeks from then. So approximately mid October for flow test results. I reckon a small spike down from here for traders to get in before a rise back over 2p.

hi sebastian not sure if you've see this on the LSE forum

" - agreed, the permit will definitely be awarded. I have had a look on the EA website and the consultation closed on the 25th June. There were 4 objections to itfrom what I could see in the comments, which does not seem a lot in the big scheme of things. I anticipate the decision to come through very shortly and that ther permit will be granted.

For those who are interested all the details on the permit application can be seen here:

https://consult.environment-agency.gov. ... l?tab=info

Exciting (and profitable) times are ahead."

looks like the EA is going ahead
