AGM

Post Wed Oct 17, 2018 3:44 pm

Well AGM will be in London 30th Nov, what do PI,s want to put to the BOD ?

What do PI’s expect from the BOD .

What’s the way forward ?, who is willing to use RIG as a proxy if we can put this together ?,

Questions you all need to consider, as the current position is untenable and cannot be allowed to continue.

Remember SIBO and Abraham are. LO !!!

Your thoughts please

Hi mate,

If it's in London and they don't take the easy option and hold it in Perth then i'll be there for sure.

If Abrahams and Sibo really are LO I wonder why they abstained and triggered the first strike last year? They cant necessarily be pro current management either?

Cheers

Hadn't we been told Abrahams and SIBO WEREN'T LandOcean?
Would be glad of some RIG represention there if it still exists.
If it is on 30th November in London I'd look to make an appearance, Range AGMs can be exciting occasions...

People need to attend, seriously there were so few people there last time the speaker paused to let you get more tea or coffee.

It'll be the first opportunity for Range beers for a couple of years. Who knows, the beer may be worth more than all our shares.
Can't see any reference to the 30/11 on the Range website or ASX yet, Ray, or have I missed it?

My question will be - How exactly does management define 'shareholder value' in the 'Driven to maximise shareholder value' statement on the website?

Oh to have an AIM exploring company, CEO and team like this. Look at the difference in how they communicate and professionalism of their presentation.

Still a risk yes as with any aim company, but at least they give the appearance of wanting to communicate with their shareholders and seem to know what they are doing !

Not sure there is a point other then to see how shame faced these people are.

Phil/Momo
I am 500 miles from the venue and unable to attend an 8 a.m. AGM. I like many others depend on you guys who can attend to attend and make our views known. The BOD are an embarrassment and need to be publicly embarrassed and made aware that their conduct is unacceptable.
Go, give them hell - please

AGM should be fun for real investors who are going.

Anyway, my willy has a twitch today so I bought more, at these prices it was worth a go. All or nothing, black or white so I went on black. Exciting times ahead !!!

I’m surprised we haven’t seen resignations....unless they know they already have the backing of sibo and Abraham’s?

They won’t resign unless forced to as they are drawing a salary from Range. All the directors should be paid in shares. That way they will ensure they hit targets. Unless the aim is to take us private by trashing the share price. If the 9-10m buying continues over the next few weeks then it will be clearer somebody is looking to takeover

All this talk of 10 million purchases,..lets not get carried away, it is £3500 worth....not earth shaking is it?

Ade
It isn't the single 10mil buy that is worthy of comment but the sustained multi million buys that have been taking place since the last issue and the 980 million of the issue seemed to fly of the shelf. The pattern continues today.

From memory you can just turn up.
If you register etc you vote.
From previous experience there will be plenty of seating available even it is held on a couple of sofas.

Adept,

From previous experience it will go like this..

Brief introductions from official attendees (board and staff members)
Formal official resolution voting with motions carried or voted down..
From here it can go two ways...

- board is rolled, embarrassed chaos, meeting ends with a wimper.
- board is kept on, pdf presentation and statement from our leader.
- questions taken from shareholders - as last time there were about 6 shareholders or less anyway you can pretty much ask them as many as you like.
- when there are no more questions formal end to agm.
- informal mingling with 1-2-1 chats possible.

- informal shareholders meeting in pub, miniboy telling us which share he made money on instead of Range.
- shareholders disband, drunk, disheveled and disillusioned.
- Shareholders google random words like Landau fraud and hit man.

Long wait if you want a tube from Cheshunt.
Technically we aren't allowed to ask questions in the meeting as 'DI' holders although that didn't stop me being rude to the protocol two years ago. I'll behave this time though. Plan to be there, trains permitting.

I think it's down to holders to be proactive with AIM shares for most brokers. AJBell say they are passing on my instructions. I can usually tell if it's happened, from the voting pattern.

Even though I’m out I’m curious from a purely voyerostic angle..., surely....surely....management can’t turn up to the agm with 80 million in debt for no production increase, a cash burning rig company which isn’t planning to drill for us for another year and only does the odd outsource job, yet another rash and fizzled acquisition in Indonesian, not much cash in the bank and a market cap so paltry fundraising is almost out of the question? If I had performed so badly in my job I wouldn’t have the chutzpah required to still be around.

Can we expect any announcements just prior to AGM. The weather in T&T seems to have been worse than usual in the rainy season so nothing there.
Perlak?
How about another acquisition? Following the apparently brainless acquisition in Georgia how about buying LAR out in Guatamala????????????

I am fearing any announcement unless it’s directors resigning. POO being driven down is not helping us either. Just need a break from somewhere. It’s so depressing at the moment. Trying to remain positive but it’s very hard

Well. One Director gone, scrub motion 3. Question is was he pushed, wasn't about to be re-elected or did he just happen to resign for personal reasons 3 days before the AGM????
