Go to this site : http://www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/

Browse to find you picture, any picture, upload.
Make sure you set the avatar size to 100.
Now click resize.
It will then give you links to download your resized avatar.

On a mac it will go into username/downloads via Finder
